Center Custodian/FSP/Floater

Essential Job Duties: Responsible for general maintenance and cleaning of center and playground. Duties may include mowing grass. Prepare and assist teacher with serving food, clean up before and after mealtime, maintain knowledge of children with special dietary conditions, and sit with and interact with children during mealtime. Demonstrate verbally and by role modeling sound knowledge of good teaching practices and child growth development. Provide children with emotion support, classroom organization and instructional support. Assist teacher in training volunteers, substitutes, and parents. 

Qualifications: Custodial experience is desired. High school diploma/GED, Vehicle, valid auto liability insurance coverage, and valid driver license are preferred, but not required. Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time and to attend required meetings and other job requirements. Experience working with pre-school children is strongly desired. Ability and willingness to obtain a CDA. Ensure to meet all mandated requirements set by the Office of Head Start. 

$10.83 per hour
