Center Secretary/Receptionist

Essential Duties:
Candidate will be directly supervised by the Center Coordinator. Must have the ability to greet persons entering premises and direct them to appropriate area. Type correspondence as required;, Process outgoing mail to post office at end of work day; ensure front office area is kept neat and clean; Be able to use and operate multiple office machinery; fax documents as requested; order office supplies and materials as needed; receive, sign-for, and reconcile deliveries.

Ability to operate multi-line phone system; Proficient computer and typing skills; Ability to work with the public in an office environment. Applicant must have a minimum of a High School Diploma, a current TN driver license and vehicle with liability insurance coverage is preferred, but not required; must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time and to attend required meetings and other job requirements; an updated physical examination and TB screening/test every 3 years. Ensure to meet all mandated requirements by the Office of Head Start.

Salary: $10.47 per hour
