     July 1, 2018 thru December 31, 2018


*Applicants for energy assistance must have ALL required documents with them in order to apply for the program.

Required Documents:

  • Copy of Government ID
  • Current utility company print-out showing last 12 months of usage, or however many bills that the applicant can supply showing base energy usage within the last year.
  • Copies of social security cards for all household members
  • Income – (total gross income for all HH members) including minor children receiving SSA or SSI

            Social security letters/pension statements/ VA statements/wages/etc.

How to determine wages:

          Weekly – 8 current consecutive pay check stubs

          Biweekly – 4 current consecutive pay check stubs

          Monthly — 2 current consecutive pay check stubs

**We cannot accept 1099’s or bank statements as proof of income**

To ensure accurate and timely application entry, please call and make an appointment with your local county NW TN Economic Development Council Service Center. Walk-ins without appointments may have a long waiting time.
